our pride & joy at CapCity

At Capital City Church, we place huge importance on our kids, and we endeavor to make CapKids one of the best hours of a child’s entire week. We believe you’ll find our teachers are some of the most caring and friendly people you will ever meet. As you enjoy the service, fun and excitement awaits your child as teachers unfold the rich Bible-based lesson for the week. God’s truths come alive as the children learn through visuals, crafts, & songs…truths that soon become planted in their hearts, shaping their lives.

You will find that our registration process is easy to walk through and that helpful volunteers are ready to assist you and your child. Security and safety are of utmost importance, and legal background checks of teachers and staff are met. We encourage you to arrive at least a half hour before the start of service to ensure your check-in process goes smoothly and easily. We can’t wait for you to experience CapKids for yourself, fun definitely happens here!

Children’s programs are offered during all Sunday morning services.

6 Months to 2 Years

Children are lovingly cared for and taught in a developmentally appropriate environment. The babies experience God through songs, play, love, and attention from dedicated teachers.

2-4 Years

CapPreschoolers is a safe and inviting atmosphere where our preschoolers are cared for in a small group environment. We teach key Bible truths through repetition and creativity while establishing a foundational understanding of who God is. Our goal is for preschoolers to know these key principles: God loves them, God made them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

5-11 Years

We are committed to reaching the next generation. We love seeing children enjoy coming to church and loving God! Everything we do in our children’s ministry is focused on bringing children to a real and active relationship with God. Activities, lessons, and curriculum are carefully selected and thoroughly planned to ensure that God’s truth is communicated to your child in a way that is relevant to the stage of life they are in.
